Arrival Just look at the detail and realism here! Simply amazing. | Rhapsody Defends the Patriarch It's a scene from a book I haven't read, but the picture is still great. The lighting, the flaming sword...and the fact the armor looks realistic and practical. Always a plus. | Domino And I thought I had seen everything... | Cry of the Wyvern I love realistic fantasy art. This looks like a professional photograph, not something rendered in a few art programs. |
Space 2 I've always liked the atmosphere of dawn and dusk. This picture captures it quite well. | The Tomb Shaman I'm not really into the whole necromancery thing, but this picture is just awesome. The lighting effects are great. | Life This picture is shrouded in an aura of mystery. All I gain is questions and curiosity about it's backstory. Though I do know the style and detail go a long way to bringing it to life. | Native American WereWolf Always liked werewolves. A native american one is quite an interesting twist on a popular subject. It's also very well done, the detail is excellent. People need to do more sculptures... |
Flare The aftermath of a space battle, done with high level of artistic talent. An excellent piece. My only complaint is that it isn't depicting battle itself, just the result. | UHHHHhhh?!! This is hilarious! Something I'd never would have expected to come across. If I could draw, I'd respond to this with Mario riding Epona, shooting a fireball at a nearby koopa, with Link chasing after them shouting. | Cold Shoulder Other than the fact they're similiar to how I envision some of my anthropomorphic races, the detail here is strong. I also like that the actually have snow on them. You don't see that often. | Space. The final... Why can't the sky be this pretty at night? I want to go into space... Also like the little fight in the corner. That one ship looks a bit like a Protoss Corsair though... |
From Russia with Love Certainly not a girl you want to mess with. The attention to detail here is...amazing. You can see every single strand of fur on her body, making it seem so much more real. | The Wooden Spaceships The atmosphere and sense of speed is amazing. The airships also look quite practical. I think all those flying boats in japanese RPGs have met their match! | Summoning Wrath One word of why I like this one: Lightning. The lightning here looks down right awesome. I think I'm a sucker for dramatic lighting effects, like what lightning gives off. | Misfortuned Eden Ouch, sucks for that world, despite how pretty (for lack of a better word) its burning death is. Though GIMP was involved in this, I'm jealous. I can barely do photo or text manipulations in GIMP... |
Flamer's Revenge This is why you don't give demons access to technology. They'll find yet another way to burn you alive. As for the picture itself, great detail. And that fire looks awesome. | Raj and Rajah I'm not into romantic things very much. There's room for it when I find a need for it, but that's about it. But, even still, this picture caught my eye. Not only do the emotions convey themselves very well, but the level of detail is high and spot on. | Tinker / Artificer Excellent lighting and use of color. This picture also strongly reminds me of Magic: The Gathering. | The All New Skyhopper An advertisement for a martian car! That alone makes it one of the most original pieces I've seen on the site. And the fact that it is so well done also contributes to the polish on the piece. |
Expired hope Excellent use of lighting and some awesome ruins. There's also a bunch of small details that add more to the picture, such as the tiny man at the bottom. | One Day The lights, the sun set, the city, the space craft... just overall and excellent piece of artwork. | Seasonscape Wow... It looks photorealistic and is very well done. | The Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog The Killer Rabbit from Monty Python and the Holy Grail! What's not to like about that? The text on the left looks like it'd fit right in with the movie! |
